Taking the best possible care of your furniture
Furniture from Åke Axelsson’s workshop is made of untreated wood. Plywood sheeting for tables in the Nomad series is treated with linseed-oil wax as a protective surface against water damage. The furniture should be wiped with a damp cloth. For permanent protection the surface treatment should be repeated from time to time. Wipe the surface clean. More severe dirt or scratches on the surface should be evened out using a scouring sponge or fine sandpaper. Add a new coat of linseed-oil wax with a cloth. If necessary, the wax can be applied quite thickly and the surplus be wiped off after about 15 minutes.

Möblerna från Åke Axelssons snickeri är tillverkade i obehandlat trä. Plywoodskivor till borden i Nomad-serien är behandlade med linoljevax som ger en skyddande yta mot vatteninträngning. Möblerna torkas av med fuktig trasa. För bestående skydd bör ytbehandlingen underhållas med jämna mellanrum. Torka ytan ren. Grövre smuts eller repor jämnas ut med skursvamp eller fint sandpapper. Stryk på nytt linoljevax med ren trasa. Vid behov kan oljevaxet läggas på flödigare och överskottet torkas av efter ca 15 minuter.
