The library in Karlskrona is a Gesamtkunstwerk with an intense mood in a powerfully formulated setting. In this commission, Åke’s point of departure was the library in Skokloster Castle with its sense of being an exclusive club. Åke’s Napoleon (1990) chair was developed for this task. Visits after prior arrangement with the municipal library in Karlskrona.
